The first domestic double wheel milling accelerates the construction of Nanchang Metro
On November 11, at the construction site of Anfeng Station of Nanchang Metro Line 4, the first domestic double-wheel milling machine independently developed by China Railway Science and Technology Group has been continuously grooving diaphragm wall for more than one month. Through the actual test, its performance is qualified, and this latest independent innovation achievement is speeding up the construction of Nanchang Metro.
According to engineers of China Railway Science and Technology Group, building a subway station is like building a huge concrete cuboid box with two sides missing under the ground. Generally speaking, to build such a "box", first excavate from the ground to make room, and then pour concrete into shape. But in practice, in order to prevent the collapse accident, it is common to insert the left and right sides of the box into the ground before large-scale excavation, and then carry out follow-up construction after stabilizing the soil on both sides. The left and right sides of the box inserted into the ground are joined together by several standard short walls (the underground diaphragm wall in professional terms). Double-wheel milling is a kind of grooving equipment used in the construction of underground diaphragm wall.
At the construction site of Anfeng Station of Nanchang Metro Line 4, reporters saw two large-scale machines, one yellow and one blue, working at the same time. The yellow one is a common trencher. It relies on an open-closed mechanical excavator to dig and pull the soil out of the trench. But once the hard rock layer is touched, the progress of the Yellow ordinary grooving machine is very slow. Then it turns to the blue double-wheel milling. Its high-speed rotating wheels are equipped with alloy cutters, cutting and breaking rocks continuously, while relying on a pipe to suck the gravel onto the ground in time.
The head of China Railway Science and Technology Group told reporters that double-wheel milling is known as the "luxury" of the basic construction machinery family because of its high technology content and high price. Previously, most of the double-wheel milling equipment used in our country was produced in Europe. The price of a set of imported 40-50 ton double-wheel milling is about 350-50 million yuan. The market rental price is also more than 1 million yuan per month, and the maintenance cost is high. This makes this advanced construction technology not widely used in our country. The double-wheel milling introduced by Anfeng Station of Nanchang Metro Line 4 is the first localized equipment independently developed by China Railway Science and Technology Group. The price is only half of the imported equipment. It greatly reduces the construction cost of diaphragm wall in our country, improves the construction efficiency, and further enhances the influence of our country in the relevant market.
