On August 5th, it was learned from the Jinshen Railway Engineering Headquarters of the China Railway Sixth Bureau that the Shenzhen-Shenzhen High Speed Rail Stem Wei Tunnel was successfully completed. This is the first tunnel through the Guangdong section of the Shenzhen-Shenzhen High Speed Rail. The Houwei Tunnel is located in Dongshui Town, Heping County, Guangdong Province. The tunnel has a total length of 164.63 meters and a maximum burial depth of 29.5 meters. Construction began on April 1, 2018.

The Shenzhen-Shenzhen High Speed Rail is the first high-speed rail with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour built by the Guangzhou Railway Group. The line runs through the five cities of Zhangzhou, Heyuan, Huizhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen in Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces. The total length of the line is 436.37 kilometers. There are 14 stations, including 301.80 kilometers in Guangdong Province. The No. 3 section of the Sichuan-Shenzhen Railway under the China Railway Six Bureau Group has a total length of about 40 kilometers. The pipeline spans Longchuan and Heping counties, including 47 bridges and 21 tunnels.

The Gansu-Shenzhen High Speed Rail is the southernmost section of the Beijing-Kowloon High Speed Rail. As an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" Beijing-Hong Kong passage, it is the main channel for the "Pearl River Delta" in Jiangxi Province and northeastern Guangdong Province, and its southern end is connected to the coastal railway., Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Rail, The central part is connected with the Guangmei-Shantou Railway and the Guangdong-Shantou Railway, and the north end is connected to the Chang-Chang Keke College, the Longlong Railway, the Changsha-Xiamen Railway, and the Handan Railway, and extends northwards to Beijing. After the formation of the Beijing-Guangzhou-Shenzhen(Hong Kong), Beijing-Shanghai, coastal and other longitudinal passenger colleges, another north-south rapid passenger transportation channel spanning many provinces and cities in the North and south of China, across North China, Central China, and South China. It is planned to be completed on September 30, 2021.

After the completion and opening of the Gansu-Shenzhen high-speed rail, the Gansu-Guangdong high-speed rail network will be further improved, which is of great significance for improving the transportation capacity and service quality of the railway passages between Jiangxi and Guangdong, and promoting the economic and social development along the revolutionary old areas of the Central Soviet Area.
