This is the first tunnel through the Guangdong section of the Shenzhen-Shenzhen High Speed Rail. The Houwei Tunnel is located in Dongshui Town, Heping County, Guangdong Province. The tunnel has a total length of 164.63 meters and a maximum burial depth of 29.5 meters. Construction began on April 1, 2018.
