Xiangyang East-west Axis Yuliangzhou Tunnel Construction starts "acceleration"

At 15:50 on November 21, the first section of the west branch of yuliangzhou Tunnel, known as "the first tunnel of the Qianli Han River", sank smoothly and docked with the bank precisely, which means that the installation of the sinking tube opened the "acceleration".

The East-west axis yuliangzhou section is a fast passage connecting Dongjin New Area and Fancheng District, with a total length of 5.4 kilometers and a tunnel structure. Among them, the submerged tube tunnel that runs under the Han River is 1.01 km in length, which is the first highway tunnel in the Han River and the largest inland river immersed tube tunnel in China.
